Shree Cement plans modernization of waste heat recovery plant

Shree Cement is planning to modernize its waste heat power plant in Ras in Jaitaran Teshil in Pali district of Rajasthan. The project involves modernizing and expanding its existing waste heat recovery power plant capacity from 90 MW to 125 MW. It involves replacement of existing Turbine (21 MW) with energy efficient Turbine which is having 115% better efficiency and maintaining higher temp and DP of hot gases in Kiln by changing clinker cooler plates of Kiln. It also involves Installation of additional Air-Cooled Condenser (ACC) cell with existing turbines to increase efficiency.
